CORFU. A criminal case was filed against him for dangerous driving and violation of the Highway Code, and he was referred to the Public Prosecutor.
(Ionian Islands Regional Police Department) A 45-year-old van driver was arrested on Thursday, January 8, in Corfu during targeted traffic checks after refusing to undergo a breathalyser test, despite repeated instructions from police.
According to authorities, a criminal case was filed against him for dangerous driving and violation of the Highway Code, and he was referred to the Corfu Public Prosecutor.
Police said traffic checks aimed at improving road safety and protecting human life will continue on a systematic basis.
