Copper pipes worth €2,000 stolen from Corfu hotel

(Ionian Islands Regional Police) A 29-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman have been charged with theft in connection with a coordinated robbery, following an investigation by the Corfu Crime Prevention and Investigation Sub-Directorate.
The suspects were located on the afternoon of February 17, by officers from the Prevention and Mediation Team. They are accused of stealing copper pipes worth €2,000 from a fenced-off area of a hotel on the outskirts of Corfu Town on the night of Saturday, February 14.
The case will be submitted to the Corfu Court of First Instance Prosecutor, and the vehicle used in the theft has also been seized as part of the ongoing investigation.
