Man arrested for heroin trafficking

CORFU. The man will be taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
(Ionian Islands Regional Police Department) A 49-year-old man was arrested on Friday morning in Corfu by officers of the Drugs Squad, on charges of drug trafficking.
Acting on reliable intelligence, police officers located the suspect in the Central Corfu area. A subsequent search of his residence, conducted in the presence of a judicial official, led to the discovery and seizure of 100 grams of heroin.
