Mayor and Deputy Mayor for Cleansing Services to appear before 3-member Court of Misdemeanours today

CORFU. The Mayor, Kostas Nikolouzos, and Deputy Mayor, Spyros Aspiotis, will be tried by the 3-member Court of Misdemeanours today, Tuesday 22nd May at 12:00.
Their appearance in court follows the incidents at the Temploni landfill on Sunday. Temploni Cultural Society has pressed charges against the Mayor and Deputy Mayor for violation of environmental regulations, whilst the Municipality has pressed charges against members of the Society for causing damage to a Municipal Cleansing Services vehicle.
