Corfu MP Fotini Vaki: Immediate action to compensate victims of recent storms

CORFU. The Corfu SYRIZA MP, Fotini Vaki, has been in continuous contact with the local authorities and the Ministry of the Interior in an effort to speed up the process of documenting the damage caused by the storms in south Corfu and arranging for compensation.
She said that they were waiting for the detailed damage report from the ministry so that the funds earmarked for such instances can be released to cover immediate needs.
An immediate visit to the areas hit by the storms is being scheduled in order to gain a clear picture of the situation and all the parliamentary procedures are being initiated so as to speed up the compensation procedure.
