CORFU. The flooding highlights yet again the problems with infrastructure and lack of preparation.
There was flooding yet again today with the first strong downpour, highlighting once more the problems with infrastructure, lack of preparation and clearing of storm drains.
The schoolyard was flooded at Corfu 6th Junior High School at the Old Port and teachers and pupils wore plastic bags on their feet in an effort to keep them dry.
The Fire Department was called out and the Civil Protection Service was informed.

Spilia, which always has a problem, is also flooded once again.
