CORFU. Road surfacing work to go ahead in Ai Lias Perithia, Vouni, Pithos, Vasilika, Riliatika, Krinia and Agios Martinos in the Thinalia district.
Following the public tender procedure, North Corfu Mayor Giorgos Mahimaris and a representative from the contracted company 'Christos Vasilakis & Sia E.E.' signed a contract for the immediate repair and maintenance of the municipal roads in Ai Lias Perithia, Vouni, Pithos, Vasilika, Riliatika, Krinia and Agios Martinos in the Thinalia district.
The North Corfu Mayor said: "It is worth noting that, after 20 years, there will be road improvement works in the Perithia community. The municipality has already done work to repair the potholes and other damage on the municipal road in Loutses and Perithia.
"In these difficult times the North Corfu local authority has made it a priority to modernise and make safe the municipal road network, which has been in a state of neglect for many years. Great efforts are being made in this direction in order to develop and improve the quality of life for the public."
