Road closing at Mouragia for roadworks to begin

CORFU. The planned work will be carried out along Arseníou Street up to Andraník.
Next Monday, October 13, or Tuesday, October 14, the works at Mouragia are expected to begin for the restoration of the damage to the sewer pipeline. The contractor TEDRA is taking on the project with an initial budget of €45,000, although the final cost remains uncertain, as the problem is considered complex.
The planned work will be carried out along Arseníou Street up to Andraník.
The TEDRA Group of Companies is already active in Corfu with the reconstruction of the sewer network in Kinopiastes, a project with a budget of €8 million, while it is also carrying out restoration works in Thessaly following the Daniel storm.
The project is referred to in an announcement by the Old Town Permanent Residents Association, which stresses that during the works there must be access to residents’ homes, and once the works are completed, heavy vehicle traffic should not resume in the area.
