Road closed to traffic in Acharavi for resurfacing

(Ionian Islands Regional Police) The Police Department has announced the closure of the road to traffic and the prohibition of parking on Municipal Road No. 6, which begins at Provincial Road EP17 and ends at Acharavi Beach, at Saouli, in Thinali, North Corfu. 

The closure will be in effect on Wednesday, 2 September from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Thursday, 3 September from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The movement of all vehicles through the specific section will be managed by the contractor, “AZ TECHNIKI S.A.”

The closure was deemed necessary due to the application of a bituminous prime coat and asphalt paving works on the area's road network.
