CORFU. The grass is being cut and the area around the New Fortress tidied up.
Corfu Inspectorate of Antiquities has sent a crew to cut the long grass and tidy up the area around the New Fortress.
As was tragically proved in the summer of 2018, when there were two fires in one month, it is absolutely necessary to keep the grass cut in order to avoid fires - which at that time were put down to arson.
