ATHENS. Minister of Health Thanos Plevris announced that restrictions on opening hours and music in the hospitality sector are being lifted.
On Thursday evening, the Minister of Health Thanos Plevris announced that restrictions on opening hours and the playing of music in the hospitality sector are being lifted. He stressed, however, the regulation that only seated customers are allowed will continue.
The lifting of the restrictions comes into force at 06:00 on Monday 31 January.
The Minister added that, for now, nothing is changing with regard to the measures at sporting facilities but the maximum capacity at sporting events will be reviewed next week.
He also said that the current vaccination certificates will remain valid until 7 February instead of 31 January, due to the difficulties for people to get their third shots in the Elpis wave of severe weather.
