CORFU. She was initially transferred to Ioannina University Hospital on Monday and then to the Children΄s Hospital in Athens on Tuesday.
The condition of a 13-year-old special needs Corfu girl with coronavirus is considered to be extremely critical. She has been transferred to the Children's Hospital in Athens after having first been taken to Ioannina Hospital.
According to hospital sources, the girl has underlying health conditions and is unvaccinated.
Due to the seriousness of her condition, she had to be intubated at Ioannina University Hospital and was then airlifted to Athens Children's Hospital.
Update: In the original report it said the child was a boy. According to Ioannina Hospital sources, the patient is, in fact, a girl.
