Delegation from University of Alabama visits Ionian University
CORFU. The educatorsrs had the opportunity to tour the laboratories of the Department of Food Science and Technology and to discuss with their Greek colleagues the prospects for further collaboration.
(Ionian University) A delegation from the University of Alabama, consisting of Professor Lisa Pawloski, Senior Associate Dean for International Programming, Finance and Administration, and Professor Kevin Curtin, visited the facilities of the Ionian University in Cephalonia on Monday, December 16. They were accompanied by the Dean of the School of Environment, Professor Ekaterini Kampasi.
The Professors had the opportunity to tour the laboratories of the Department of Food Science and Technology and to discuss with their Greek colleagues the prospects for further collaboration.
The visit concluded with a tour of the laboratories of the Department of Digital Media and Communication, followed by discussions with its Professors.
The collaboration between the Ionian University and the University of Alabama will continue, as joint initiatives are being planned and will be announced in due course.
