Man, 50, arrested for drug trafficking

CORFU. A total of 84 grams of cocaine, €1,800 in cash, and precision electronic scales were seized.
A 50-year-old man was arrested on Thursday afternoon, 14/11 in the outskirts of the town, charged with drug trafficking.
Drug Squad officers, after effectively utilising information received, located and arrested the 50-year-old. In a business on the outskirts of the town, where he was employed as a manager, the following were found and seized: a total of 84 grams of cocaine, €1,800 in cash and precision electronic scales.
The Drug Squad conducted a preliminary investigation into the case and he was brought to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
