An 18-year-old tourist fell off a cliff at Yiali beach, near Giannades, on Tuesday afternoon, August 20th, after a rock he was holding onto came loose. The area was quite inaccessible, and there was heavy rainfall.
According to reports, he sustained a fracture in his right leg. Ropes and a stretcher were used to lower him to the beach, where he was picked up by a private boat and the coast guard. He was then transported to Ermones beach, where he was taken by ambulance. His father, who was with him, fortunately, was not injured.
