CORFU. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Fire Department.
The fire that broke out on Monday morning in a forest area in Kouloura has been extinguished. Sixteen firefighters, with a team from the 15th Special Disaster Response Unit (EMODE), five vehicles, and five aircraft, as well as water tankers from local authorities, were involved in extinguishing the fire. According to the Fire Department, the cause is being investigated by the department's investigative unit.
