Motorcyclist, 61, killed in road accident in Moraitika

CORFU. The 42-year-old car driver was arrested for involuntary manslaughter.

A 61-year-old motorcyclist lost his life in a road accident on Tuesday afternoon, 28 May, when a car driven by a 42-year-old foreign national hit his motorcycle side-on. The accident occurred on the Corfu-Lefkimmi Road, in Moraitika.

An investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident is being conducted by the Achilleion Police Department, with the car driver being arrested for involuntary manslaughter.
