Person injured in yesterday΄s violent incident transferred to Ioannina Hospital

CORFU. The perpetrator is hospitalised at Corfu Hospital.

Yesterday evening one of the persons injured in the violent incident that took place in San Rocco Square yesterday afternoon was transferred to Ioannina Hospital.

The transfer of the 17-year-old was deemed necessary as his condition required further evaluation by a vascular surgeon due to the injury he sustained to his thigh. The young man was injured when he attempted to separate the two school pupils involved in the altercation.

The 14-year-old who was attacked, as well as the 17-year-old perpetrator, remain hospitalised at Corfu Hospital, as the latter, after his arrest, declared himself injured and was also transferred to the medical facility.
