Young motorcyclist killed in Emporiko Kentro road accident

A young man, around 18 years old, was fatally injured on Saturday evening in the port area, near the Emporiko Kentro bend. According to initial information, he was riding his motorcycle towards the town when, for unknown reasons, he lost control and collided with a pole.

Coincidentally, a doctor was at the scene, who rushed to provide first aid, but the man had already lost consciousness. The doctor made efforts to revive him, but to no avail.

He was taken by ambulance to Corfu Hospital without a pulse, where, despite the persistent resuscitation efforts by the emergency doctors, unfortunately, the man did not regain consciousness.

Police officers rushed to the scene, and collected evidence to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
