Carnival atmosphere in Corfu Town

CORFU. Young and old took to the streets in their costumes.

The town was filled with carnival-goers of all ages yesterday, who flooded the main streets and enjoyed themselves with their imaginative costumes.

The initiative was taken by Corfu Lykio Ellinidon, which paraded from Met. Methodiou St. through the pedestrian precinct, Annunziata, Old Town Hall, Liston, to the Palace.

The carnival-goers then took over, dancing and having fun.

The next parade is planned for Sunday, March 17th.
