Man arrested for electricity theft

CORFU. A man was arrested yesterday afternoon for electricity theft.
In an inspection, in collaboration with the competent team from the Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator (DEDDIE), it was discovered that the man had an improvised connection to the electricity supply network in his house, enabling him to obtain it illegally.
The arrested individual was taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
