Air-conditioned space available in Municipal Theatre during heatwave
CORFU. The day centre for the homeless will also be open 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday.
(Central Corfu Municipality) Air-conditioned space at the Municipal Theatre is available for those in vulnerable groups to shelter from high temperatures, provided by the Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands Municipality.
The air-conditioned space will be available 09:00-14:30 on weekdays and at weekends from 12:00 to 17:00, during the period July 10th to July 21st.
Additionally, an air-conditioned space at the Day Centre for the Homeless will be open from 09:00 to 17:00 PM Monday to Friday, for the homeless (telephone for information: 26610 81855).

A relevant announcement will be posted in the following Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands Municipal locations:

This action is being implemented within the framework of the municipality's social policy and the protection of public health in cases of significant temperature increases, based on the guidelines of the General Secretariat for Social Solidarity and Combating Poverty, Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, in order to prevent homeless individuals from being exposed to danger due to the upcoming heatwave.
