Free distribution of domestic composters in North Corfu

The Municipality of North Corfu, as part of its integrated waste management programme, is starting a pilot programme for household composting. This comes after the establishment and operation of 180 recycling centres and the acquisition of state-of-the-art mechanical equipment. Initially, 200 composting bins for households will be provided free of charge to citizens who voluntarily participate.
The volunteers in the programme will be included in the "composters' registry" that will be created.
Those invited to participate are: Local Councils, Cultural & Sports Associations, Businesses and residents, who can all express their desire to acquire a household composter by phone at the following number:
26633 60155, Monday-Friday 08:30-14:30.
Period for phone applications for the first 200 household composters: July 1st - 15th, 2023.
Priority will be given in order of application.
