Agrifood Partnership educational event in Nymfes
CORFU. The educational event will take place on Saturday 1 April as part of the 2nd Nymfes Waterfall Trail.
An educational event targeting students from primary schools in North Corfu is being organised by the Ionian Islands Regional Agrifood Partnership in collaboration with the Ionian Islands Education Department and Nymfes Cultural Society as part of the "2nd Nymfes Waterfall Trail" Festival, which will take place on April 1st and 2nd, 2023, in Nymfes.
The event aims to raise awareness and promote understanding among children through experiential activities such as games, storytelling, and educational tasks. It focuses on cultivating a new culture of healthy eating, environmental protection, and promoting local traditional products.
"By placing children at the centre, who are a guarantee for a better future, we have come up with a new approach in our efforts to promote and highlight the special nutritional value products of the Ionian land and beyond," said Agrifood Partnership President Nikolaos Mouzakitis. "The Ionian Islands are not just about tourism. They have a rich range of traditional products with special beneficial properties that reflect the unique natural and cultural aspects of our land."
