Water cloudy in Thinalia - supply turned off from Ag. Martinou well

CORFU. North Corfu Municipality announced that the area is being supplied gradually by the other wells.
There were problems with the water supply in the Thinalia area this weekend with the water found to be cloudy, probably due to the heavy rainfall over the last few days. The issue was observed in the network supplied by the Fk5 Ag. Martinou well.
As soon as the problem was discovered the supply from the well was turned off and the area is being supplied gradually by the other wells.
North Corfu Municipality issued the following statement:
"Residents in the former Thinalia Municipality area can be assured that North Corfu Municipality and DIADEYADK are doing everything to ensure they feel safe with the water supply. Further research into the cause of the phenomenon is proceeding immediately.
We would like to let you know that we are working to fully restore the water supply and ensure the quality of the water.
We are certain that the public understands the issue and we thank them for their patience and understanding."
