CORFU. The St. Spyridon procession takes place on Sunday 6 November.
The following traffic measures will be in place in Corfu Town on Sunday 6 November for the 'First Sunday' St. Spyridon procession:
07:00-13:00
No parking or stopping in Viktoros dousmani, Agoniston Polytechniou (from Old Fortress entrance to Old Palace) and Vas. Georgiou A' (until St. George gate).
10:00-13:00
Closed to traffic from the junction of Agoniston Polytechniou and Dimokratias Ave (NAOK).
One-way only in Akadimias, Aspiotis and Rizospaston Voulefton in the direction from NAOK to the post office.
No heavy vehicles (lorries over 3.5 tons and private and public buses) in Dimokratias Ave (from Douglas Column to NAOK), Aspiotis and Akadimias.
Traffic police will be diverting traffic to side streets.
