Public enthusiasm for tonight΄s Cameristi Della Scala performance

There was a press conference for the local media today with Corfu International Festival Artistic Director Dionysis Grammenos, mezzo soprano Rosa Bova and Cameristi representative Roberto Nigro. Dionysis Grammenos said that there had been such a great interest from the public that, in agreement with the orchestra, the concery had to be moved to the Municipal Theatre.

"Tonight's concert at the Municipal Theatre is an especially significant event - with Cameristi Della Scala and the mezzo soprano Rosa Bove," Mr. Grammenos said.

"The concert will have Italian baroque music with works by composers such as Vivaldi, Correli, Giuliani και Durante. I am extremely happy and moved that we will be putting on this concert with these exceptional musicians in Corfu today. The visiting artists have been rehearsing and are enthusiastic about performing for the Corfu public.

"The response from the Corfu public has been amazing and for that reason it was decided to move the concert to the Municipal Theatre, which is the biggest indoor venue in Corfu Town, so that as many people as possible can come to enjoy it.

"Admission will be free for everyone," Mr. Grammenos stressed.
