CORFU. Change in the event΄s location - Maria Callas Tribute Gala with the Thessaloniki State Orchestra.
The Thessaloniki State Orchestra will be at the Corfu International Festival for the Maria Callas Gala Tribute at the Municipal Theatre on Monday 19 September.
The programme includes favourite arias and well-known works that, for most people, have been identified with Maria Callas.
The Thessaloniki State Orchestra is one of the most important cultural bodies of the country, with a high artistic activity and a rich social and educational work.
The distinguished soprano Alexia Voulgaridou, having an international career and having worked with great conductors and performed on some of the greatest stages in Europe, gives a fresh air to timeless works.
The conductor of the Thessaloniki State Orchestra is the Swiss Philippe Bach, who has conducted major European orchestras and numerous operas.
A special tribute with masterpieces of the international opera scene, a musical retrospective of Maria Callas' highlights.
