"Kiev - Life Under Siege" Photography exhibition by Nikos Pilos

Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands Municipal Art Gallery is putting on an exhibition of photographs by Nikos Pilos ""Kiev - Life Under Siege"

Nikos Pilos, who is of Corfiot origin, is one of the best-known photojournalists in the country and has been working for 35 years, with several international awards. This is his first exhibition on his home island.

The exhibition shows Kiev a few days after the beginning of the war in Ukraine, capturing moments in the everyday life of those who chose to stay in their homes during the bombing.

The exhibition opens on Friday 16 September and runs until 16 October.



Master class

Nikos Pilos will give a master class in the People's Garden on Sunday 18 September, 20:00-22:00, in which he will present photography projects and a documentary of his work over the last 20 years.
