Pierre Eleftheriou Littig photography exhibition "KoryFos"
CORFU. Pierre E. Littig is a graduate of the Department of AudioVisual Arts at the Ionian University and holder of an integrated MA in photography, specialising in photographing antiquities and architectural photography.
Corfu Inspectorate of Antiquities is presenting a photography exhibition by Pierre Eleftherios Littig titled "KoryFos" at the Old Fortress Latin Chapel.
The Greek-German photographer created the title of the exhibition from the medieval name for Corfu – Koryfó – and the Light (Fos) of the Ionian.
The sea and the architecture of the Old Town, intertwined elements, landmarks of the history and culture of Corfu, dominate in the black and white photographs of Littig, which he observes and captures during the calm winter period. The images also contain the element of current time, as evidenced by the slow shutter speeds used in the shots.
