CORFU. Water just to be used for household purposes and not irrigation.
Due to increased water consumption and the worrying drop in water levels in some areas, DIADEYAK (public water company) is informing consumers that they must use water only for household use and not for irrigation.
"If the wasteful use of water continues, then DIADEYAK will take the necessary measures outlined in its regulations, such as turning off supply to showers on beaches, removal of water meters, removal of irrigation equipment, turning off general water supply for specific hours etc."
