Ionian University at the ‘Study in Greece Virtual Fair’

On January 24 2022, Study in Greece, the official body of internationalisation and extroversion of Greek higher education, held the ‘Study in Greece Virtual Fair: Expanding Bridges between Greek and US universities’.
 
The Ionian University also participated in this online exhibition with a virtual kiosk, as part of its strategic goals, since the institution intends to design, organise and operate foreign language study programmes for international students in the near future.
 
Aiming to attract foreign students to Greece, the global ‘Study in Greece Virtual Fair’ is designed to provide up-to-date and detailed information on Greek higher education and research, in order to help foreign students choose the programme of their choice. This unique virtual environment offers Greek universities the opportunity to present and promote their wide range of study programmes to a global audience, as well as to get in touch with candidate students from all over the world.
 
Being the first time in the history of Greek higher education that all Greek universities are collaborating, coexisting and being promoted together, the global ‘Study in Greece Virtual Fair’ is another example of Study in Greece's contribution to the internationalisation of Greek higher education.
