Tree falls on 6th Primary School - luckily the school was closed

CORFU. It was fortunate that the tree fell at 5 p.m. on a day that the schools were all closed.
Due to the heavy rainfall that Corfu has been experiencing over the last 24 hours, a tree fell on the roof of the 6th Primary School yard. The school is located below the park next to the prison.
Teachers Union President Antonis Koursaris posted the photos along with advice for all his colleagues: "Despite the fact that we all know that this park (along with others) is not looked after by those responsible, in these weather conditions it is likely that there may be other such incidents. Let's all have a good look tomorrow before we open the schools in the morning."
