CORFU. The body of the man who was found dead in Peroulades on Tuesday afternoon has now been identified.
The man (initials G.B.) was 76 years old and was identified by his brother on Wednesday morning.
He had lived for years in Athens but was from the Peroulades area in Corfu and had been staying here recently.
The medical examiner's initial assessment regarding the death of the 76-year-old man was that he had died the previous day (Monday) and that the cause of death was serious injuries caused by a fall from a great height.
