Corfu Hospital: Operating theatre and “quiet room” in operation again

CORFU. The Hospital Administration announced that the improvement works have been completed during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The hospital announced the following:
- Operating Theatre No. 1 (the main operating theatre), has been put back into use since all the outstanding issues frpm the last four years have been resolved. The roof has been sealed, the plasterboards and installations (electrical equipment) have been replaced. Today, it is a modern and safe Operating Theatre and is available for scheduling surgeries.
- The “Quiet Room” in the Psychiatric Department has been completely renovated, providing security for the patients.
“It goes without saying that we, as Administration, will continue to work in order to improve each Department of the Hospital, in accordance with the experts’ recommendations, so that they are more efficient and function smoothly, both for the staff and the public,” said Hospital Director Leonidas Roubatis.
