A 16-year-old French tourist who was trapped in rough terrain in Glyfada was rescued early yesterday morning.
The Fire Service was immediately called out and the rescue operation was especially difficult due to the thick vegetation and steep incline.
After several hours, the 16-year-old was freed with no external injuries and able to walk. An ambulance took him to Corfu Hospital for precautionary reasons.
