Applications for Corfu Tour Guide School being accepted until 11 September

As part of the collaboration between Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Municipality and the Ministry of Tourism, Deputy Mayor for Tourism Panayiotis Varouchas issued the following statement:

The Ministry of Tourism Tour Guide Schools are post-secondary vocational schools with a 2-year academic programme.

Applications can be submitted by Greeks and citizens of EU member states as well as citizens of non-EU countries who are resident in the country and have good knowledge of the Greek language (C1 level).

70% of places are given to those who have completed secondary education and 30% to those who have completed tertiary education.

All applicants, regardless of the their level of education, must have a Level C2 certificate in at least one foreign language apart from Greek. Tuition at the Tour Guide School is free.

Submission of applications opened on 31 August and closes on 11 September and for the first time can be done via the digital platform on the official Ministry of Tourism website - here.
