CORFU. Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Municipality Technical Works Department has been carrying out road repairs.
Deputy Mayor Nikos Kalogeros said that the Municipal Technical Works Department has been carrying out road repairs in Corfu Town.
The Deputy Mayor for Technical Works said on Facebook that the water pipe in Linou Koyevina St. was being 'treated' before the final surfacing of the road went ahead.
It was a difficult operation, Nikos Kalogeros said, done in cooperation with DEYAK.
The Technical Works crews also made other temporary road repairs where there has been damage at other points in the town (Megalomatas St., St. Desylla, Methodiou and Post Office).
Mr. Kalogeros said, "..there are serious problems with the roads and it has been like that for a long time." He thanked the Traffic Police for their help in coordinating traffic.
