Unanimous vote of approval from Town Council for emergency contracting out of refuse collection

CORFU. With 26 councillors present the motion was passed unanimously.
The emergency contracting out of refuse collection will cover the Central Corfu area (Paliokastritsa, Phaeces and Parelion) as advised by the Hellenic Single Public Procurement Authority and with a budget of 220,000 Euros.
The other two topics at the Council meeting were also approved unanimously - the decision of the Finance Committee to adjust the Municipal budget and the electronic procedure, without putting out to tender, to temporarily contract out refuse collection for Agios Georgios, Esperia, Thinalia and Kassiopi.
