Almost 300k Euros for the refuse collection contract in Central Corfu

CORFU. According to the Municipality΄s press release the contract for refuse collection in Achillion, Parelion, Paliokastritsa and Phaeces will cost around 225k Euros (not including VAT).
The budget for the immediate contracting out of refuse collection in the districts of Achillion, Parelion, Paliokastritsa and Phaeces will be over 200,000 Euros.
The Municipality of Corfu received a written response from the Hellenic Single Public Procurement Authority giving the go-ahead for the emergency release of funds in response to the Municipality's request for a fast-track procedure for the refuse collection contract until the contract is signed.
According to the press release, which was issued today (5/8), Corfu Municipality will proceed with the immediate contracting out of refuse collection in the districts of Achillion, Parelion, Paliokastritsa and Phaeces with a budget of 225,000 (not including VAT).

"Following receipt of the approval of the Hellenic Single Public Procurement Authority, the Municipality of Corfu is proceeding with the immediate awarding of the refuse collection contract for the districts of Achillion, Parelion, Paliokastritsa and Phaeces with a budget of 225,000 (not including VAT)."
