Seminar: Protection and safety in natural disasters

CORFU. The Hellenic Rescue Team is organising an open information meeting on protection and safety in natural disasters.
The seminar, sponsored by Papastratos Company, is part of the 'Act to Protect' programme and will take place at the Ionian Academy (Capodistriou 1) on Saturday 1 June at 10:00. Admission is free.
The meeting is open to all members of the public who would like to learn how to act in natural disaster emergencies such as fires, earthquakes and floods. This includes a session on First Aid in case of injuries.
The seminar also aims to raise public awareness regarding prevention and reducing the risks of disasters caused by humans - a frequent occurence in our country.
Along with the Papastratos Company, the event is also supported by Aegean Airlines - official carrier for the Hellenic Rescue Team - and the Ionian University.
The 'Act to Protect' programme is sponsored by Papastratos Company and the Hellenic Rescue Team will be holding 24 open seminars throughout the country between May and September 2019. These seminars are 4 hours long and are presented by Hellenic Rescue Team trainers.
