28th Balkan Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships in Corfu

CORFU. 170 competitors from 11 countries will be taking part.
On Saturday 18 May the 28th Balkan Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships will take place at the Municipal Theatre.
A press conference was held at the Old Town Hall yesterday with the Mayor of Corfu Kostas Nikolouzos, Gabriel Toncean, President of the Balkan Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, Stelios Kliafas, General Secretary of the Balkan and Greek Federations and Msdrea Ovidiou, Head of the Judges' Panel.
The Mayor welcomed the officials, competitors and judges and said that it was an honour that Corfu had been chosen to host the Championships. He wished everyone good luck.
Messrs Toncean and Kliafas thanked the Mayor and the Municipal officials for their hospitality and cooperation and stressed the importance of sport in our lives.
170 competitors from 11 countries will be taking part. It is the second time that the competition has been held in Greece since 1987 when the Balkan Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation was founded.
