Regional Administration and other organizations to meet and seek ways for South Corfu to return to normality

Ionian Islands Regional Administration will be holding a meeting on Thursday 26th July in the Regional Council meeting room. The purpose of the meeting is to develop understanding and discuss ways in which the situation in South Corfu can return to normality.

Bearing in mind the need for the implementation of the interim waste management programme in Corfu, including the South Corfu residue landfill, and the need to bring an end to the police presence in Lefkimmi, representatives from the following are invited to the meeting:

Corfu Municipality, Solid Waste Management Association, South Corfu communities, Technical Chamber, Corfu Chamber of Commerce, Corfu Trade Association, Corfu Federation of Manufacturers, Corfu Hoteliers Association, Corfu Federation of Tourist Accommodation Owners, Federation of Corfu Travel Agents and the Cultural, Sports, Dance, Music, Environmental, Artistic Societies and Philharmonic Societies and Choirs from South Corfu.
