LEFKIMMI. The decision to dissolve the Lefkimmi branch of SYRIZA was taken last night by members at a meeting.
With the barrage of developments over the last few days culminating in the arrival of the riot police Nikos Gousis and Andreas Pandis have left it open as to what they will do next.
Speaking to Start (local) TV channel, they said: "Our personal and political dignity doesn't allow us to accept the presence of the riot police in Lefkimmi to enforce government policy regarding waste management."
