Corfu-Igoumenitsa ferry crews not taking part in the continuing strike
CORFU. The Corfu Seamen΄s Union voted unanimously today not to take part in the new national seamen΄s 24-hour strike that was called by the Hellenic Seamen΄s Federation.

CORFU. The president of the Local Authority Workers Union (OTA) in Corfu, Stamatis Korfiatis, told Enimerosi that they will be participating in the national work stoppages on Monday 15th, called by the Panhellenic Federation of Local Authority Workers (POE-OTA).

No ferry services - Corfu, Igoumenitsa, Paxos and Diapontia Islands.
Corfu OTE employees on strike
CORFU. Corfu OTE employees will also participate in the strike declared by the national Federation of OTE Workers (OME OTE).
Another seamen’s strike on the horizon
CORFU. The Federation of Greek Seamen (PNO) has decided to participate in the strike called by the General Confederation of Greek Workers (GSEE) on Thursday, 14 December. The Corfu Seamen’s Union have yet to decide whether they will also join the strike.

CORFU. The seamen have requested a meeting with the Prime Minister, during his visit to Corfu on 4-5 December in Corfu, as their problems still remain unresolved.
