CORFU. Warning from Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Municipal Civil Protection that from midnight on Friday 31/7 until midnight on Saturday 1/8 the island will be a Level 4 fire risk.

CORFU. Two people were arrested for violation of the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus - organising an outdoor event at Dassia beach. Fines were also imposed totalling €10,000.
Arrests at Ionian Islands airports for fake travel documents
CORFU. 22 foreign nationals were arrested at Corfu, Cephalonia and Zakynthos airports for trying to travel illegally to other European countries.
Road accident in Liapades with two injured - one of whom had to be freed from car
CORFU. An elderly man and a woman were injured and had to be taken to hospital. The first was trapped in the car and had to be freed by firefighters.
