CORFU. Man arrested for 4 break-ins and 1 attempted break-in.
A foreign national was arrested on Sunday night, 30 August, for burglary. He had broken into a house early on Saturday morning through an unlocked window and stolen money.
The police investigation discovered that the culprit had recently broken into another three houses through unlocked windows and balcony doors and stolen €185, jewellery and other personal items. He was also found to have been involved in another attempted break-in.
He was found to be in possession of €1,275, 1,400 Albanian Leks, a mobile phone and other items, which were seized.
He was interrogated by Corfu Police and taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
