Flooding in Spilia yet again - problems on the road to port and in Garitsa

Yet again, heavy rainfall has caused problems in the area of Spilia, as well as in Garitsa and on Eleftheriou Venizelou Street near the Port.

Ionian Islands Regional Police has announced that, due to significant water accumulation on the roads in the Spilia area, emergency traffic regulations are being implemented. Roads have been closed to traffic at the intersection of Iron Agoniston Polytechniou and V. Dousmani Streets (Old Fortress) as well as Eleftheriou Venizelou St. by Corfu Traffic Police.

Drivers are kindly requested to comply with the instructions of police officers.
