CORFU. The road in Nissaki has now reopened.
The heavy rainfall caused the flooding of roads yet again in South Corfu.
There was flooding in Linia and the road had to be temporarily closed due to the downpour. The road has now been reopened after being cleared by South Corfu Municipal work vehicles.
Roads were also flooded in Moraitika, Boukari, Agios Georgios Argyrades, Messonghi and Agios Mathaios.

South Corfu Mayor Kostas Lessis requested equipment from the Ionian Islands Regional Administration, which will remain in the area over the coming hours.
"The bad weather is now receding," Mr. Lessis told Enimerosi. "However, we are remaining on standby. We don't know yet if any property has been destroyed."
Firefighters had to pump water out of the basement of a hotel in Tzavros.
In Nissaki the road has been reopened to traffic after a stone wall collapsed earlier today.
There was also flooding in the Tsarou area.
