Three arrested for theft of electricity

Three men were arrested in the early hours of Wednesday, November 27, in Corfu during targeted inspections, while one more individual is being sought in connection with electricity theft.

The inspections were carried out by police officers in collaboration with a team from DEDDIE. It was found that the four perpetrators had made makeshift connections to the electricity network at their homes, located on the outskirts of the town, enabling them to illegally obtain electricity.

The three were taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
